Follow the Bear Paws

I am in the Lovely Linen Online Bee! It has been so fun to sew with linen and to see the different ideas from the talented quilters I am participating with. I was asked to make a bear paw block and it turned out so pretty! I think when Tracy puts all of these together she will have a beautiful quilt!!

The interesting thing about this square is that we have had a bear wondering around our neighborhood!! Watch out for bear paws!!

It was a busy weekend!!

Grandchildren are just the best!! Truett Daniel Wyss was born on Saturday morning. He is so precious and such a cutie weighing in @ 9 lbs 9oz. Maren was so excited to have him finally here. She just couldn't quite understand why he couldn't get on the floor and play with her.

It was such an exciting weekend. We had some very fun activities!!!

We read books, did lots of swinging, looked for rabbits, watered the flowers, and enjoyed our time while "baby brother", Mom, and Dad were in the hospital!!

Aaaa, The Good Life!

Jodi and I are both busy with family right now.  Not a lot of sewing is going on!

Jodi's son and daughter-in-law had a baby boy this week named Truett Daniel Wyss!  I have only seen pictures of him, but trust me...he is a cutie!

I am spending this week at the lake with my daughter and granddaughter.  It is just us three girls!  My husband and son were here over the weekend and we did go out on the boat on Sunday.  It was Parker's first time on a boat!  She did great and seemed to love it.  She even took an hour long nap...on the boat!

Before Carisa and Parker came, I did manage to get some sewing done for a few bees. Here is what I got accomplished:

While I am not sewing, I am spending time playing with my granddaughter and watching Glee reruns with my daughter.  We are doing very little cooking and cleaning.  We prefer to  just sit and be together, talking about our lives and being moms, and just relaxing.  I can't think of anything better!
