Isn't the owl so cute?
My Modern Quilt Guild participated in the Habitat Challenge. The fabrics were designed by Jay McCarroll. We were given 6 fat eights and were to use at least one of the fabrics. I decided to use all the fabric and I made my owl to fit the fabric line is called Habitat. I did add the brown log and my binding was a solid black. The remaining of the fabric is on the back of the quilt.
I pieced the back together and did the quilting. |
Happy Quilting,
Luv ya, Jodi
Jodi, this is really cute and original. We have owls here too...Barred Owls that talk back and forth to each other in the evening. I really think that they had babies they were feeding this summer as they were more active than normal. I love seeing them. I haven't started on my Habitat Challenge yet...ours is due in November. I keep changing my mind about what to do!
